Acts as you, never more
A connection works in one workspace with your role. Dispatchers' connections never receive fees, margins or other restricted money: the server leaves them out.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex or your own agent to Grey Miles. Ask which loads need a check call, log the update, draft invoices or vet a carrier, in plain words, with the access you choose.

Claude, ChatGPT and other chat apps sign in on Grey Miles. You choose the workspace and what the app may change without asking.
Paste the server URL into your app's connector settings.Guided demonstration · sample records
The same instructions appear in Grey Miles under Settings → AI connections, with your server URL ready to copy.
Menus differ between app versions. If a step has moved, look for “MCP”, “Connectors” or “Apps” in the app’s settings. The server URL is all it needs.
A connection works in one workspace with your role. Dispatchers' connections never receive fees, margins or other restricted money: the server leaves them out.
Read only, ask before changes, full access, or a choice per kind of change: loads, tracking, invoicing, email, public links, deleting and more.
When a change needs you, you answer in the app's own confirmation prompt or in Grey Miles. An approved change runs once, exactly as shown.
Changes an AI app makes appear in history and the audit log as made by that connection, with its ID, so you can always tell people and agents apart.
See every connected app and key, when each was last used and what it used. Disconnecting stops it at once. Owners can turn AI connections off for the workspace.
Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your password never reaches the app. Two-step verification and session settings can't be changed by an AI app.
The Grey Miles skill explains loads and their lifecycle, roles and restricted money, approvals and fair use, and step-by-step recipes for a morning brief, a check-call sweep, booking, weekly billing and carrier vetting. It works with apps that support Agent Skills (SKILL.md), alongside the MCP connection.
Each workspace has a daily allowance that grows with its team, and each connection has per-minute limits. When a limit is reached, the app is told how long to wait.
| Call | Units |
|---|---|
| Read a record or list | 1 |
| Make a change | 2 |
| Search, analytics, address lookups | 2 to 3 |
| FMCSA profiles, route calculations, exports | 5 |
| Reading a rate confirmation | 10 |
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard AI apps use to connect to tools and data. Grey Miles runs a remote MCP server, so any app that supports remote MCP servers can work in your workspace.
What you can do in the web app, within your role: search, read and update loads, log check calls, record arrivals, manage carriers, brokers and fleet, look up FMCSA records, draft invoices, share invoice and carrier profile links, send email from your connected mailbox and more. Common work has dedicated tools. Everything else is reachable through find_actions and run_action.
Create an access key in Settings → AI connections and give it to the agent as a secret. Keys have the same access choices, can expire, and can be disconnected at any time. If the key asks before changes, approvals wait for you in Grey Miles.
No. Connection settings, approvals, access keys, sign-in, two-step verification and session length are never available to AI apps.
AI connections are included in paid plans with a fair-use allowance per workspace per day that grows with your team, plus per-minute limits per connection. A read counts 1 unit, a change 2, and work that calls outside providers (FMCSA lookups, routing, reading rate confirmations) up to 10. Settings → AI connections shows today's usage.
Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP, from protocol 2025-03-26 to 2026-07-28. Sign-in supports OAuth client metadata documents and dynamic client registration, so apps can connect without setup on our side.
Only the answers to the tools it calls, the same records you would see. What the app then does with them follows that app's own data policy. Check it before connecting.
